55mini
So it kind of makes one wonder why even vote. Sad considering all that seem to race with the club. At least there are 265 that have interest. Thanks to those who voted and to all that ran!
JDChristianson
There are few interesting possibilities on why so few vote. how many teams/ cars are there?
Administrators Bill Strong Posted December 21, 2020 Author Administrators Report Share Posted December 21, 2020 Its been like this from Day 1. The vast majority of members just want to race and have fun. They have no care for the back end of the deal. They pay their money. They come to the event and have the time of their life. Even if they don't win. They still had a blast. We see them at their next event. That's it. They do come up to us and ask us what all the hubbub is about with the rules every now and then and laugh at all the guys taking this seriously, like it was F1 or NASCAR. They are just out here having fun. Spending some spare cash having that fun.
hotrod
That's just 6.5% that voted. And I would bet the number of members on the Forums & Facebook are pretty minimal. Makes it hard for new Directer to get on the board it ends up being just a popularity contest........

What you really mean is the vast majority want to drive a car on track, get away from their mean wife and drink beer and stuff. Many are not really racing.
Technical Advisory Committee Ray Franck Posted December 21, 2020 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted December 21, 2020 It clearly means the overwhelming majority of the membership feel things are so good there is no reason to get involved cause there is no need for change

But really most things are really pretty good. There’s always a way to do better though. Now get of this silly forum and enjoy your family this week.

Slugworks Paul
As a counterpoint - there is no shortage of people who have either 1. quit racing with champcar or 2. won't consider champcar because of the issues with the rules. There was an interesting conversation on this in a 24HOL group. Lots in CA - and there seems to be a lot of confusion as to why our attendance numbers are bad out there (within champcar) Food for thought, I guess. I remain loyal to champcar and hopeful they can be mitigated so those individuals will consider racing with us (again). LuckyKid
CCES should really think about implementing a net promoter score. There seems to be a lot of talk on the forum about how many people are satisfied and this simple metric tracked over time would give a statistically significant benchmark.
