Binnkin 0
I have a rear roll cage already installed on my 03 Mini, but I am looking to get a full roll cage crafted and installed so that I can get this fine machine on the chump car circuit. Im not quite sure where to start, but I figured this would be a good place. Even if someone has a suggested site for ordering a prefab cage that would be helpful. Im located in Cleveland, Ohio. Thanks for your time. Edited January 3 by Binnkin
Fetterhund 40
You could look into Roll Cage Components. Easy to work with and super helpful. I would do business with them again with no reservation. The only word of caution I have for pre-fab cages is make sure your welder is actually as good as they promote themselves to be. I am still dealing with the aftermath of a poo-poo welder. In hind-sight I should have asked for references and inspected some other work of theirs before hiring them, and absent references I should have bought some scrap tubing and pay a small amount for a sample weld to inspect. atxe30 113
I bought the pre-cut kit for e30 from RCC. It was great. Talking to them now for the e34. Def need to have someone who is competent with the welder put it in for sure.
Technical Advisory Committee Burningham 2,197 Posted January 4 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted January 4 If none of these pan out you can check with Mark at http://www.kirkracing.com/ he sends cages all over the country. Really nice work.
Binnkin 0
Im taking a look at the link RCC website, but the cage doesnt look identical to the 3d image listed under the Champcar rules. Will this be a problem? https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/champ-cage-f3c1c5a21e8d4feab22b53f48f7a3385?utm_medium=embed&utm_source=website&utm_campaign=share-popup
