Administrators Bill Strong Posted January 29, 2021 Administrators Report Share Posted January 29, 2021 I am still listing swapped cars in this list. If you have a swapped non-Mazda engine in your mazda and you are on this list, please post here, or let me know via email.https://champcar.org/web/pdf/nationalchampionship/2020ChampionshipPointsMazda.pdf

LuckyKid
When I spoke to Mazda Motorsports, they said contigency for the championship will be class based.
Z06LOL
Speaking of Mazda contingency, @Bill Strong can someone from Champcar please consider discussing what it would take for the Mazda Motorsports contingency to get changed to something similar to their contingency with AER. They have a smaller payout but it is per race. I can only speak for myself but I am almost certain that quite a number of Mazda teams that run with Champcar don't necessarily run the championship race, for many different reasons. 2

LuckyKid
I would prefer something per-race as well. Being all dependent on the national championship, but then having it class based is odd. Also, its not really well written and took a couple calls to understand exactly how this thing pays out. For example, I thought we'd apply for the Enduro bonus, but they require we run with two different series.
