Administrators Bill Strong Posted April 12, 2021 Administrators Report Share Posted April 12, 2021 #504 RX7 - had one reading of 98.0 But after that reading he was a consistent 94 db. I believe he had a mis-shift on that 98. #632 96 db #346 - 97db #804 97 db The rest of the field was at or below 96db. Race director gave a pass on the two 97s. I was taking measurements from the spot the SCCA takes their measurements from. Drivers left. 50 ft from the track centerline. This does not guarantee that you will pass at your next event. Administrators Bill Strong Posted April 12, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted April 12, 2021 There were so many cars that I could not get all of them. I focused on cars that were over or very close. Cars were always for the most part in groups. So I needed to wait until they got clear of those groups to get good reading. Most groups were all on the low side of the 90s. Most cars were in the 88-94 area. 1

Just bring it so when someone pops 96.1 and gets black flagged we have something not $20 amazon special to compare it to.
Administrators Bill Strong Posted April 15, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted April 15, 2021 The mini was quiet. so no reading. No need to come by with some sort of officially tool. Then mine won't be the standard.
