Do we know if there will be a test day for this yet?

They had one on the calendar for the Friday before the race.  I assume it is still on the calendar...

We're officially in.  Yes, there is a Turn 1 day scheduled for that Friday, which is their in-house track day org so you'll need to sign up with CMP.

Looks like we'll also meet the 5 car rule for Nissan/NISMO contingency.  I'm really looking forward to this one, reminds me of the early days.

Where you at @Team Infiniti??  You know you wanna.  New pavement.  A/C'd bathrooms.  Its like a resort now, lol.

Going back-and-forth with the transmission supplier about purchasing high energy clutch Disks and band à la carte, it’s not going well, the entire banner kit with high energy stuff is pricey, the rest of the unit is perfect, we would not use 2/3 of it.

Supps are completed, but the track wanted to review them before I posted them,. So hopefully they will be uploaded before this weekend.

Worlds better from those I know that have driven it.  Tons more grip too, like 2-4sec/lap faster.

Wow, unfortunately we have never been there, anyone have a barometer how the new track wears hankooks?

We tested the e30 a few years ago with Bremson and my old set of Rivals made it through a test day with no noticeable wear. New payment should be easier on tires. RS4s should go a couple races.

Basically never wears......

The repave has moved the tire wear to about what you would expect at barber. Lemons guys will get a 24 race plus potentially another race day out of a set.

The kink is also nearly gone and the line now matches what you would "geometrically" expect vs driving around looking for the best patches of grip.

Went to go sign up for a RV spot.  Holy crap they are proud of those.  $30 per DAY!   I can put a lot of fuel in the generator for $120.

It appears the paddock is still mostly dirt, so plywood and bases for jack stands would be a good idea if you plan on doing any work.

They only have about 2 dozen spots total so demand>supply.  I'm used to $30-50/day at most 30A campsites (that usually include water/sewer hookup though) so I didn't even balk.  $200 for the garage spot for the weekend was the one I had to stop and really think about.
