TimS
G-force, Jerrico, Jasper, or race prepped Tex T-101 would be my guess. Jerrico would be my choice with mid valley engineering shifter. Use some of the spare points for a trans swap I guess Edited May 17, 2021 by TimS

Use some of the spare points for a trans swap I guess I doubt it, they have already been down that road of racing transmissions years ago with Blitzvinning. My guess is a regular old Muncie or T10.
ABR-Glen
Transmissions are required to come from a vehicle on the VPI list (at least for a 25pt value) 1
Sully1133
I’m doubting the Jericho. It’s gotta come from a car that would have had it in production. Thanks for the input

TimS
Race prepped t-10 then the likely candidate. Lots of parts for those to make very racy.

wvumtnbkr
Lets be clear that "stock" in this situation does not mean that every part in or on it is the part that came from the factory. There is a picture of the trans from the camaro floating around. It is VERY nice indeed. At the very least, it has been meticulously rebuilt to a very high degree.

I would be surprised if it wasn’t rebuilt to an extremely high degree. They know how to build a quality race car
Hanz and Franz
Best thing you can do for a box is apply the "Hippocratic Oath" gear oil, (it gets administered by the guy with his feet on the pedals and the shifter in his hand).

They know how to build a quality race car That's why I have always been surprised by the reliability issues they seem to be plagued with. While generally fast, they do drop out of a lot of races. Curious what the issue was at the Glen.
Wheelman_99 - C Rallo
They paid no swap points, so assuming they were running a fuel cell over 22 gallons, it should have been a Borg Warner. 74 or earlier had a Muncie trans, but a smaller fuel tank. I don't recall ever counting fuel jugs going in, but based on how far they went making that power while being carbed...
