Which belts/ harness do you recommend?

We are in the process of prepping our 2nd car and need some new belts. Looking for 6 point w/ 2" belts. We currently run the Schroth Enduro 2x2 Harness in our main car and like them but are on the pricey side. Any recommendations on something similar but maybe on the cheaper side? Trying to keep costs down at the moment. Thanks

I love the Schroth harnesses. We have the Enduros in our Cobra and I have the Profi II ASM in my ACR-E. They are so easy to get in and out of as a driver and we're deciding on harnesses for a new build...I'm thinking the Schroth Flexi 2x2 (PN 94530). They are about $480.

Just installed the Flexi 2x2 in our e30. OMG!! What a difference over our former GForce ones.

We had GForce harnesses in the Mazda originally. It was literally like strapping in using dock ropes from the 19th century.

Enduro or bust. So easy. No teammate required. Pricey, but worth it.

I second the above. I am tried a few different belts and the Enduros are so much better. On a scale of 1-10 with the enduros being a 10, the next best belts are like a 7. They work that much better.

Another thing to look at is the Enduros are FIA, 5 years. Some of the others might be SFI and only 2 years I think. It costs more, but last longer.

One nice thing is that the best features of the Schroth harness, the 2-inch lap belt with the adjusters integrated into the buckle, have been copied by many other manufacturers.

Even lowly Racequip and G-force offer models that have this feature now. the price of these is still a lot higher than the really cheap camlock harness’ but a lot less than the full blown Schroth.

Disclaimer, I haven’t used any of these belts, I have just been researching for getting my car back on the track.

We tried a set once and fell far short of everyone’s glowing reviews, perhaps we got a counterfeit?

Yup.

The flexi is similar in this regard.  Can be setup for pull up or down too.

Nope. Adjustor is in a different place and this makes all the difference.

RaceQuip has an enduro style belt for half the price as Schroth and it is almost as good.

Those do look nice, but if you look closely, I believe those are the exact same belts that Racequip, and G-force sell for $299. Look at the quick release buckle, no way they are that identical by coincidence.mom.png.2b4318edc04e1928c94ca7658e80cd5c.png

I believe someone makes a lot of hardware for harness manufacturers just like the belt material. If you look at other manufacturers You will see they all look very similar. But the racequip and Gforce are very well priced. If the belt material isn’t to stiff.
