kcbhiw
It pains me that this will be the first AMP race that we've missed since CC began running there. My wife has been very generous in years past years as this event usually falls on or around her birthday. That's only compounded by Halloween falling on Sunday and having a 7 year old who's really into it. So family calls this year. See you (hopefully) at Barber!

I see that it's allowed but I can't locate a contact for cost/location (unless I am just overlooking it which is entirely possible) Or do you guys typically just ask the person at the gate when you arrive? There's no designated spaces and no hook-ups. You can just stay in your paddock space. But you need to supply your own power and water. Administrators Bill Strong Posted October 22, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted October 22, 2021 It's the end of October and that means AMP! Greetings One and All.... As usual, please take a few minutes to look over the Supplemental Rules here. Remember to refresh your cache so you are looking at the most current version, it should be up to Version 3 now. AMP is pretty straight forward. We load in Friday, go through Tech and Registration, run the practice event, race Saturday and Sunday, done. Easy right? Ok, maybe a few details. Friday Test Day: DiscoveryParts, your B Class Sponsor, is hosting a Friday test day on October 29, 2021. Pricing has an early pay discount and all details can be found here - https://discoveryparts.com/discoveryparts-at-amp/3513-65726-october-29-open-track-day-at-amp.html#/1393-track_day_times-full_day. And, And.... Please make sure you take the time to get your car through Tech (if you need it), your driver gear checked, and Register your car. Tech and Registration will be closing at the times listed in the Supplemental Rules. Also, there will be a New to ChampCar drivers meeting Friday at 5:00pm. Everyone is welcome, but if you have never raced wheel-to-wheel before, or this is your first ChampCar race, you must attend. Want a preview? There's a preview video here. Speaking of Driver's Meetings. We will have one each day prior to the race. But we've had had great feedback about the virtual meeting videos so we're going to keep doing those. Your Virtual AMP video is here. Ok, on to some Tech stuff. We rolled out the Electronic Tech form online for the VIR race in March. So far it has worked great! If you already have a Tech form in the system, and a 2021 Annual Teach Decal, settle into your space on Friday and come visit registration. If this is your first race of 2021, you (the Team Captain) will find a new button link on your main login page. Two weeks before the race, the tab Submit a Tech Form will take you to an electronic form that looks just like the paper Tech Inspection form. Simply fill in all the boxes at the top, then fill in or click on the listed point value items on your car. Save the form and you are done. At the track the Tech staff will simply check the required safety items on the car. Once the Tech staff clicks save on the safety portion of your online form you will get your Annual sticker and head to Registration. Speaking of the Registration Staff... Please take a few minutes to review your team's registration. Checking things like membership status for each driver and your payment balance can make the check-in process go much quicker. Anything else? Yes, you in the back with your hand up? Pit Stalls? Right, pit assignments! Your pit assignments are here. Thanks very much! Dana & Your ChampCar Staff.

jakks
Running Bulls will have two sets of wheels for sale at the track. Find us at pit stall #2. We don't really want to take these back to the garage First set is TRMotorsports C1's. Been used for 2-3 seasons. 15"x8" 25 offset. Normal e30 fitment. $300 obo. Next set is some NLA Felgenworks 15"x9" 0 offset. No idea how many events on these. We acquired them but don't fit our needs. There are some mix-matched tires on them. $350 obo
