Hudson Holcomb
Hello, we have a new build which is a 14 year old car so we will be running the first few races in EC until able to properly class. As an EC class car, is it required to complete points table on tech entry sheet? Thanks! Hudson
ETR
Yep you do everything the same it just says EC on the car.

Only new requests of cars not on the list face this hurdle.
Technical Advisory Committee Chris Huggins Posted October 23, 2021 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted October 23, 2021 And cars less than 15 years old are still welcome to race EC
ABR-Glen
You don't have to calculate any points to run in EC, just the safety and tire rules.

I’ve run EC the last few years and have had to fill out the tech sheet completely. Last tech was March of this year, maybe things have changed……. or it’s inconsistent. Technical Advisory Committee Ray Franck Posted October 25, 2021 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted October 25, 2021 (edited) Hudson EC cars do not have to fill in point values, only have to meet saftey requirements and run 180+ treadwear tires. One thing to add is the race director has the final say on what cars they will allow to run EC with us as some builds may be to fast or heavy to safely race with us.
