Look forward to having some fun and getting some experience in wheel to wheel racing. We are a team of 5 and all are new to wheel to wheel racing. kevinatfms
Team name updated to Pickle Boy Motorsports. Ran the VIR 12 Hour South race and won Class B. Blew the right front brake line 11 hours and 49 minutes into the race ending our day but we pushed it into post race inspection and were awarded the first place finish. Had an absolute blast and the car did ok for the basic suspension setup we had. So much body roll and so much understeer it was insane. Anyways...

Lessons learned....secure brake lines AWAY from all control arms, CV axles and moving bits. The brake line blew after being rubbed by the CV axle or sway bar end link. Ended our evening with 10 minutes to go(sorry to everyone at VIR South for that red flag). So making brackets to keep them up and out of the way and confirm they are out of the way. Zip ties are not longer an acceptable solution to keep them secured to the strut housing. Seat back brace at the recommendation from tech due to our seat mount flexing a bit. Performance wise.....back to our coilover setup(with fix for slotted lower bolts), some aero bits and WAY more tire up front. Oh and cut as much weight out as we possibly can. Hoping to give some of the faster B class cars a run down the front straight.
