Hugh Jass
I am in the market for wider wheels and tires. I am looking for at least two sets of 15x9 4x100 lug pattern +35 offset wheels for our Miata. I plan to use them with 225/45/15 tires. If you have some you are looking to off load or know of a good deal or just have a general recommendation, I am ready to hear it. Thanks, Alex Edited December 9, 2021 by Hugh Jass added detail

A lot of Focus guys are switching from our 4x108 pcm to the 4x100 since there are so many wheels offered in 15x7, 8, or 9 in that bolt pattern. The 35-36mm offset is pretty common in a 9" wide wheel for Miatas, so a few different manufacturers make them in the exact specs you listed. Many of the Miata tuner houses offer that size in several different wheel brands. Konig, Kosei, Rota, Advanti, 949, Jongbloed, TRM, Enkei, MST, VORS, etc. Even better is many of these offerings are the semi forged "flow form" design, very lightweight. New prices aren't terrible compared to other sizes that are not so common. Not sure how available this size is in the used wheel market. I found the research kind of fun, comparing weight, size, price, etc. Good luck either way, whether searching for new or use...

Tirerack used to have a reasonable priced wheel, not sure if they still do. Otherwise the best deals seem to be from Goodwin Racing.
mender
$147 at Tire Rack: https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?&autoMake=Mazda&autoModel=Miata+SCCA+STR+Class&autoYear=2005&autoModClar= These are the wheels I use: https://jhpusa.com/products/advanti-racing-storm-s1-15-wheels?variant=39970340820 $140.75 each/$563 for a set of four. Quite light (12.3 lbs) and reasonably strong, have damaged the lips of two enough in incidents to need replacing without bending the barrel. A friend of mine highly discouraged me buying anything for w2w racing with an exposed spoke like the Storm, so I have been skipping past any with that design. CoachMK21
The Konig Dekagram are one that I've seen others use. Slightly heavier and more expensive than the Advanti Storm. https://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Performance-Part/61-2369.html

The two rims that got damaged both had chunks taken out of the rim from contact, one with a wall (with 225s) and the other with another car (with 245s). Hard to say for sure but I don't think the spokes were a factor. Both were repairable but I'd rather have replacements.
