Has anyone had luck registering for the test day friday?  I can't figure out how to sign up.

BTW this race has a stacked entry list.  Should be a hell of a race.

Hi Maureen,

I would like to register for this event but can't seem to find where to do so.   The links on the CMP website appear broken and its not on motorsportsreg.com.

Have I missed the window to sign up?

Last year all of the "Champ" cars were put into one run session.  This resulted in an extremely over-crowded session and the speed difference meant that open passing was the only option or conga lines formed.
Is this the same plan this year or will "Champ" cars be given the opportunity to run in different sessions or in an open-track format to alleviate some of the congestion?

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,

The registration is not open yet. It will be next week.

Thank you for the insight on last year’s event. Let me look at the data and see what we can do this year.

Best,
Maureen

$350 for five 20 minute sessions if you want to register as a ChampCar for those that may not want to log in. Solo group being $275?.............

Team Hugh Jass is really looking forward to our first event of 2022, and with a significantly updated car. First time at this track and the field looks seriously stacked.

As we've done the last few years, HJ will be hosting a Motorsport Trivia Social in the paddock on Friday night at our trailer. All teams are welcome to join; should start around 7pm (assuming the test day goes well) and there will be beer for the winners. Topics include F1, NASCAR, Indycar, and even ChampCar. I'll update in this thread once location and timing is more confirmed, but definitely the more the merrier!

Looks like the crew forgot to move the stacks of new tires we are bringing out of the shot, oh well you will see them soon enough. 😬

I know that I am ready to see everyone again, so if you see me or one of my team in the paddock or pit lane stop by and say hi.

Thanks to everyone that has helped us with our revamp during our off season, we could not have made it without you.

Now it's time to get to South Carolina before they close the gate, so I can get to work with @Rapido and @David Haines on putting #337 on jack stands in impound for the first time.

Great to see so many familiar faces at the test day today.

Trivia social will take place tonight, starting around ,8pm at the HJ Trailer/garage - #23, next to Tech. Bring your team, something to sit on, and something to drink. There will be beer for the winner, so this is very serious.
