Any chance of a Friday test day of any sort?

Maybe, still have to work out details with the track. If it happens it will be run separately and booked through the track.

NOLA newb here. I'm looking at RV parking and Google earth view... Do any or all of the man gates to cold pit get opened during an event?

As a guy who brings his RV to support his team, I'm loving the hookups right against pitlane. At pitt, the hookups are not right on the fence and only NCM tops this, but only for a team or two. We've been able to get the far end garage spot, by the beginning of pit lane, the first pit stall and the track let us park the RV next to the garage which has power just inside the door. It was magical!

So champ hasn't been there in awhile (and we never have), but any thoughts on expected track limits?  Watching some spec pinata they are fully into the circled areas on corner exit.  Looks quite rough.

Can't speak for ChampCar -- but when I raced PCA -- neither sections were specifically off limits.  The exit onto the main straight will bounce you around, and the wall comes up quick, but I used it all the time.  The lower left one is more unsettling, and not that useful as you run out of room quickly.  Furthermore it tended to collect moisture and not dry out making any incursions over that section not worth the effort.

Any Austin based teams headed to Nola?  Looking to have someone tote my gear bag and helmet back this way after the race.

I'm flying to visit family straight from Nola and prefer not to lug around my gear.  I'll be toting it with me on the flight out.

Breaking badly is from Austin
