snowman
Is gear inspection typically open on Saturday morning pre-race? We have a driver who is coming in late Friday night and we want to make sure he can get through his gear tech.

NewbernD
Will there be an antifreeze allowance for this event? And how much antifreeze can I put in my ESS fire bottle? (only mostly joking.)
Administrators Bill Strong Posted November 16, 2022 Author Administrators Report Share Posted November 16, 2022 update from VIR concerning onside hotel rooms. Good Morning, Due to the construction schedule change, we will not be able to offer you lodging for the Champ Car or Track Advantage events in December. Unfortunately, we have to cancel all reservations currently for these two events, arrivals of 12/1 and 12/2. All Lodge rooms, Pit Lane, and garages will have to be cancelled. We suggest contacting Daily Seven for any availability close by. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during these construction changes. Cancellation confirmations will be sent out to each of you as well. Sincerely, VIR Lodging Staff

ross2004
Typically the supps will say something like "10% antifreeze allowed." @Bill Strongwill probably update them at some point (or maybe not....).
Administrators Bill Strong Posted November 19, 2022 Author Administrators Report Share Posted November 19, 2022 After consulting with the Lord Overseer and Tea Pot Dictator Dana Morrison, he stated that its okay to add 10% antifreeze. I did the math for you and it comes out that you will have 110% capacity. You can add up to 10% mixture of antifreeze into your system. MMiskoe
I used to bring my unicycle to the track and leave it where people would see it just so we could watch people ask to try it. Most attempts ended in "damn, that's hard".
