Preamble

First race this weekend so apologies for the n00b question.

Question

Are Champcar's rental transponders wireless, or should I be routing a power and ground line to my mount location?

Thanks!

Scott

2 - Yep, knew about the holder, Thanks,

3 - Also yep, lived in Des Moines area and now relocated to St Louis.

@55mini You guys are going to be at RA if I'm not mistaken?  Haven't seen you since we volunteered back in '18!

You might have to buy the holder for it though and have something to attach it to the car in a safe place.

Zip ties will do just fine if you have a flat surface with holes in it that you can wrap them through.  We do it a lot on karts where we trade transponders around a bit.

Just pay attention to what it has for obstacles between it and the road, it needs a cone shaped view looking down at the road.
