Canadian Racer - Looking to Make a Swing in the Midwest!

Recommended Posts

Hello there!

My name is Nick Dwornik. I'm 24 years old, and I'm a recent resident in the Northwestern Ontario region, rocking it down in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I'm avid racer through and through, with various experiences in road racing. From 2010 to 2021, I've been able race against all comers in Go-Karts (2010, 2014, 2020) and Superbikes (2016-2021), all in various formats, classes, and conditions!

Starting in 2020, I was able to save up for a computer and start my Sim Racing adventure. Over the past three years, I've had various opportunities to race alongside some of the best in various Leagues and Official races. Most recently, I accepted a call up to be a Reserve Driver for Porsche Centre North Toronto as a part of the 2023 Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Canada Series!

The reason I'm posting in here is because I wanted to inquire about getting my foot in the door with Automobile racing, as with moving to Northern Ontario, there isn't any true opportunities to go Road Racing without a far travel distance in Canada, so it makes more reasonable sense to head state side for opportunities.

I was hoping to see if there were any teams with open seats for any of the Midwest rounds? Ideally looking at Road America, but I'm open to tracks a bit further away!

Anyways, I hope to hear back soon from you!

Nick Dwornik

Hi Nick! Fellow Canuck living in the Midwest (Indianapolis). I help with a nonprofit that runs ChampCar, Lemons and Bracket Racing and you may be interested in racing with us! DM me if you're interested! Love the bikes too!
