turbogrill
Hi If I want to install a brake pressure sensor for coaching is this all I need: https://www.miatacage.com/brake-pressure-sensor-adaptor Is the brake pressure uniform in the system? Or how does that work?
MMiskoe
For comparing when and how hard on the brakes, it won't matter where it is in the system. It will just be a number that the system displays, you'll be looking for where on track and how hard the pedal is being pushed. We've always just relied on monitoring the brake lights to provide a signal to the data logger. It doesn't tell us how hard someone is pushing the pedal, but you can look at the rate of deacelartion and get a good idea.
Chappy
I’m running this on my NA: https://www.advanced-autosports.com/products/brake-pressure-sensor-adapter Have a cheap eBay 1600psi pressure sensor running into my RaceCapture for data collection. We do use brake pressure as a primary signal to look at. Says how early, and how hard you are getting on the brakes. Also shows if you release/coast before turn in.
