TimS
Question to anyone who has or uses a bike, scooter, cart, jet pack, etc to move stuff or otherwise move back and forth from pit to paddock area. What do you use? How easy is it to get to the track? Is it allowed at all tracks? And of course cost? I was looking at a folding eBike. My knees are just not up to the fast walking anymore.
Team Infiniti
some tracks don’t allow anything without a street tag, we have both a gasoline Street driven tagged scooter and electric basic Foot scooter Make sure your ebike has a seat and big enough, air filled wheels, where extension cords or cracks in concrete don’t knock your teeth out. Why seat? Because the requirement at some tracks like Sebring
MMiskoe
25 year old mountain bike. Old and used enough that it got swiped or crunched I don't care. Easy enough to ride. I pretty much bring it to all tracks and have never been hassled about it. I'm hoping that trend continues. We have one of those mats that goes over the truck tailgate and the bike rests w/ its back wheel over the gate, doesn't even need to get tied down. We brought the 150cc dirt bike once, but realized that someone would hop on in flip-flops, no helmet etc and then be ripping across the paddock at 50mph. Decided that was not a good plan. The unicycle is fun. You leave it in a spot where a lot of people walk by, always someone who wants to try it, rarely are they successful.
Fitsbain
Last race I did was Pittrace Lemons. My adopted team was the Mercur Space Project. They brought the aptly named death cycle. Its an adult size tricycle, that has an electric front wheel. It will burn off the front tire, and do 50 mph. 1

obscene
somewhat related: it took me a while to find a pull cart that could carry 4 hunsakers so might as well share it here. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SWY0H1S 2
TimS
I have a gorilla cart that carries 2 hunsaker jugs but I’m too old and worn out to run it back and forth. I have seen the tricycle bike and electric would be great.

ETR
Used to haul a Yamaha TTR90 around but it was a bit of a hassle for the mobility that you may or may not use. Always had to debate if it was worth loading, getting all tied down, and carrying the extra weight that you may not even use much depending on the track. Especially going to a new track, who knows if you'll need it. Went to a segway ninebot max and it was the best thing ever. Super well built and stable. Toss it anywhere for transport and if it ends up not really being used at a particular track, no big deal because it wasn't a hassle to bring. Seats are also available for them.

One of our drivers (who isn't on the forum) holds the patent. If we're ever at the same race, I'm sure he'd be willing to divulge. He's created a few variations. He added "tracks" to this one for beach use. 2
roadracer4life
I have been using a ninebot standup scooter for a while now. Some tracks won't allow standup scooters so I bought this for less that 300$ at the time from costco https://www.costco.com/Phantom-R1-Seated-Scooter.product.1641129.html Its a bit bulkier than the ninebot but works great for getting around. -Sam
