Hammerheads
We’re in. Had to make sure we didn’t blow up at VIR before we could commit.
Technical Advisory Committee NigelStu Posted August 24 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted August 24 (edited) My team is in. Found end-of-life on enough bits that Mid-Ohio isn't doable while keeping the enjoyment of prep with a drivetrain out rebuild.... so now I can change Pitt from a "maybe, if car/my sanity survives Mid-O" to "woo hoo, there's one more race I can still make!" Administrators Bill Strong Posted Wednesday at 04:53 PM Author Administrators Report Share Posted Wednesday at 04:53 PM PittRace 2023 Final Information Greetings Racers, First, as always, please read through the Supplemental Rules HERE. Please be sure to refresh your browser so you are looking at the current version. SPEEDWAIVER- found HERE Please have speed-waiver filled out before you arrive at the gate for entrance onto the property. Pit-Stalls found HERE Test Day- The test day will be ran by PittRace, information is in the supplementals. Sign up: HERE Garages- Please call the track to book at (724)535-1000 Tech: If you have yet to go through the tech process for 2023, please go to tech before registration. You'll need to have your online tech sheet filled out and submitted before you arrive at the tech shed. Officials will pull up your sheet and review your car to approve your car for the 2023 season. Registration After tech, please review your team's registration for a few minutes. Checking the membership status for each driver and your payment balance can make the check-in process much quicker. If you see a red exclamation point next to a driver/crew name, they still need to fill out both online waiver forms; please complete them by verifying the last step through your email. ALL DRIVERS AND CREW must individually check in with photo ID to get their arm band. Anyone who is not a driver or crew member must purchase a $20 temporary membership at registration, this will be heavily enforced. Electronic Waiver and Gear Check Agreement When you log into your account, you will see a note about signing your electronic waiver and gear check form. The process is simple: you must acknowledge an email to verify your identity. The waiver is the standard participation waiver, and the gear check is an agreement that you will comply with all of ChampCar's required safety equipment. Flagtronics and Transponders Flagtronics units are required and can be rented for $50 at registration. Transponders are available to rent for $50 at registration. Please make sure your Flagtronics has the latest update: v0.6.1.6 We will be on-sight and can assist with the update process if needed.
