Aaaah, it's a beautiful 98 degrees in Texas with not a drop of water in sight.

34 cars completed Tech, 32 started this morning. The American Motorheads AMX cracked a piston in the test and tune, and after a shakey engine run up at Tech, the #7 MR2 left the track, pulled an all-nighter, and were in the race by 1:30p.

After a brief delay on the start this morning, it's been all racing, all damned day. Just like God intended. Several lead changes have occurred. The Chevy-powered Opel GT led early, as did the Looney Toons Mustang. At 3:30pm, the leaders are:

#190 Mid Drive Crisis was just towed off course and made it back out in short order, and another Texas brush fire has kicked up just a few hundreds yards track. Big battle between the American Iron cars, with Looney Toons and Rust Pirates going at each other all around the circuit. With just under an hour remaining:
