Guest ChumpCar
There's no Internet here... no wi-fi... no nuthin' ---- so don't look for Live Timing without a miracle. We're working on a miracle but the race gods have not given us much love. We had rain all morning, turning to broken sunshine and windy conditions in the afternoon. The ChumpStaff is already down two (2) EZ-Ups and we haven't even started the damn race yet!I'll try to provide updates but it may be tough. We are going to implement a classic LeMans start for the race... should be interesting! The track is open, fast, tight and technical. Open - nothing to hit and lots of run-off room. Fast - lots of straights and fast chutes. Tight - the track is only 27' feet wide and had lots of decreasing radius corners. Technical - if you don't hit the perfect apex, you will be off the track. Look for LOTS of sneaky-inside passes.
