CutlassRacer
Mike, we do not always agree on the forums, but dang you work your tail off for your cars at the track. Did you drive any of your cars during the race, or do you just crew them? You were definitely the dirtiest guy on your team.Turn 17 was definitely bumpier than last year, but we had also made the car stiffer so I would bet that it was both that contributed to the car feeling like it became airborne in some spots!Bummer to see the turbo car have problems. It was quick, especially in the wet!
MiniRacer26
Hey Kevin, I sent a little something for you back with your team for you. I hope they were put to good use!
CutlassRacer
Nathan, thank you for the donation of tampons from your personal toiletry items. While this may be hard for you to understand, myself and my team are full of real men who have no need for items such as those, or for your pathetic high school drama. Please focus your distaste for me into making your cars better because they have all been pathetic examples of racecars. If you had not noticed, the only conversation that I have had with you lately has been non-confrontational as I had chosen to avoid drama with you with the hopes that you might grow up a bit. Your donation this weekend has only proven that you are an idiot. Thanks for trying to ruin my thread. Please be on your way and have a nice day.

MiniRacer26
You still haven't answered my question, I am fully aware that several of the guys on your team are good guys and have personally told me that you have a serious problem with letting that mouth overload that rear end and they do not agree with your attitude towards others....their words to us, not ours.We have no issues with them.Your "blocked" telephone call solidified my intuition of you needing a box of Kotex extra protection was spot on....no pun intended! CutlassRacer
Answered your question......Blocked telephone call???? Absolutely no idea what you are talking about. If you have called me, you have never left me a message. Yes I send calls directly to voice mail sometimes, when I am busy with customers so if that is all that happened then your response is childish, again. Trust me, I do not have your number saved in my phone so I would have no way in knowing if it was you that was calling. Even if I had blocked your number (and again, I have not), if you happen to have access to a different phone you could have called from that one, ever think of that???The only attitude that I have ever had with others is people that obviously have a problem with me, such as you. Having talked to all of my guys, specifically the two that rented for you and fixed your car that would not run for more than an hour, and they have some choice descriptions of you, however I have no need to post them publicly and make you look bad. Yes I have my opinions, and I state them publicly and I own them 100%. I never sugar coat anything and prefer that others do the same with me.The only idea that I have of where this started was my video of Daytona where I showed that at least one of his cars was not staying low exiting the NASCAR turns, even after it had been discussed on the forum repeatedly and in the drivers meeting right before the race that the slower cars have no need to blend up to the wall NASCAR style and holding up the faster cars (not just us). I guess if the facts upset Nathan then he is going to continually have a problem with me because facts are what I like to deal in.If anyone on pit road knew me enough to think that they needed my help, and I was not wrapped up in something with our own race, I would gladly come and help if they came and asked. Probably even Nathan, depending on how he asked (and as much as he works on his cars, he could use the help, harsh yes, but 100% factual from what I observed at the last couple of races). What does kinda aggravate me is that I started this thread to compliment Mike Ogren on his hard work at Sebring, and acknowledge that he was right about the track being rougher in some spots and now this thread has been derailed by Mr Tough Guy Nathan. I do find it hilarious that I am in his head enough that he would take some tampons from his personal stash and carry them around in his car just waiting to see one of the guys from my team so that he could get all giddy by giving his present for me to them. Thanks for wasting a few bucks on me Nathan, I can assure you that I have no plans to do the same for you, lol.PS, if you get the point where you need those tampons to stop up an excessively heavy month, they are in one of the trash cans near the center of pit road. MiniRacer26
It's not what you say to people, it's how you say it and until you realize that you are going to continue to have problems with others. Your little snippets from your video were totally uncalled for. Your ability to make friends and to be cordial with others sucks, your own teammates have made that clear to us when they came to us at VIR and stated that they wanted no part of your mouthing off to others from behind the keyboard. Yes, you have a fast car but that isn't a green light to be a total douche to everyone you come in contact with that isn't on "your level." I also like to deal in facts and I know for 100% that if you had the backbone to say some of the things you do to people man to man rather than from the safety of your keyboard, I think you would be "broken" of that habit very quickly. CutlassRacer
Nathan, like I have already stated in my previous post, I have my opinions, I have stated them in person to people and I have never had an issue. By the way, you are the only person that is really upset with my Daytona video. In fact, more people have told me that they liked the comments. If you cannot take a little ribbing without getting your panties in a bunch, you should not be involved in any kind of motorsports. Did you ever think that those guys on my team said what they said to protect our car? Chew on that for a bit since we are all in agreement about you. To close, I would drive any car in Chumpcar if given the opportunity. I am no better than anyone else. I do stand by the fact that I feel like we execute our racecraft better than the majority of teams. This fact was bolstered by a couple of the tech guys this weekend and can be bolstered more by MyLaps data.PS, what question and what phone call?PSS, the "broken" comment sound like a typical threat that a circle tracker would say. I personally feel that there is no need for any such language in ChumpCar. It doesnt take fighting to resolve conflict, Nathan.

bcakes
While loading up the car Sunday morning I found some pretty decent bananas in the trash on pit lane. They were a little bruised, but otherwise quite delicious and now you guys are telling me I missed a pefectly good unopened box of tampons?Seriously, For what its worth I never met Kevin before and he was kind enough to let me use his team's wooden ramps (which I failed to return when I said I would and he was really cool about it) to unload the car. He seemed like a really nice guy to me and we ended up having some good conversations. Congrats Kevin on your victory! Also met Mike Ogren and he seemed like a really good guy as well. Met lots of other new people and had a great time with all. Hell, I just like everybody I guess.
pstrbrc
Seriously, For what its worth I never met Kelvin before ...Kelvin? When did this turn into a thermodynamics class? Where? Darn. Missed something again. Thought we were watching the new movie about some Roman Emperor and a speedy pirate. But this is cold. Hey, Mike. Figures, don't it. Somebody tries to say something nice about you, and it turns into a rhubarb. (sigh) That's cold.
MiniRacer26
Bcakes,99% of the teams out there are good people who just want to have fun, but you have a few that totally ruin the spirit of ChumpCar. We have borrowed tools, loaned tools and parts and vice versa with many teams.Mike Ogren got us into ChumpCar, has helped with parts and is an asset to the series....even if you don't agree with some of his posts and opinions. Kevin you can take it however you wantbut I haven't made any threats, I basically stated the factual truth that a battleship mouth will always sink a row boat rear end. I'll close with this...if you have another smart donkey remark to make about me or one of my guys, you should come and see me or the individual in question instead of running that gator in the pits and from behind the safety of your keyboard. I am very easy to find and will gladly make myself available to speak with you in the paddock or we can take a walk outside the gates if that's more your style. We are good either way. It's a very simply proposition, man up or shut up.

We are good either way. It's a very simply proposition, man up or shut up.Nope, no threats there at all, lol. BTW, posting facts (or in my case posting evidence in a video) is not being smart, it is merely posting facts. I am sorry that you feel that your guys did nothing to deserve the tongue in cheek comments in my video. It was not until some of your comments AFTER the race on the forum that I decided to include the footage of your car in my little video. It did not bother me at all during the race so I did not feel the need to go down pit road to look for you guys, especially between the rain and having to visit the ambulance for burns on almost every finger on my hand, which occurred early in the race (my fault). The way I am, I would prefer that if people see our car doing something dangerous that they would point it out to me so that we can learn from the situation and get better, and I would not pitch a fit about it on the forum. You could just as easily come find me as I could you. I went by your pits a few times and it looked like you all were pretty busy so I did not think that you would want to be bothered.PS............What question and what phone call???Bcakes, good meeting you! Thanks for the help with the numbers! I tried to pull the side that I did off of the car and it peeled the entire sticker off of the car including a layer of paint! Now we have a big yellow circle on the drivers door, lol.
Ogren-Engineering
What? I go to work for a day and Imiss this? Thanks Kevin. Well done on your win.Every time I looked over and saw you in the pits, I knew it must be another 2hrs. The turbocar ran perfect for the prior 5 hr of track time and onthe street. Runs about 1 hr in this race and blows the head gasket. The "Yellow Dog Golf" peeled it's clutch disc and rear seal. Big mess, had the wrong trans/disc package. The Red Golf ran perfect, other than the wheel falling off.**** Big thanks to the team that had the car jacked up and was trying to reinstall the wheel*** They were down @ pit in maybe P 2 or 3. Lots of nice people were all very helpful al weekend.yes, I worked on my car durring the red flag. If you want our 43rd spot , feel free to claim it Topic for anothe r thread.Later, MM

CutlassRacer
Mike, we heard of people complaining that you were working on the car during the red. If I were in your position, with people renting my cars, I would have done the same thing. I think at that point you are just trying to get them more seat time so position is really not important any more.BTW, the POW from the turbo car was kinda scary at times, especially when chasing the car in the wet, lol. Is the muffler on that car balloon shaped now?? Ha ha
