Guest ChumpCar
I should be in Portland by about noon. Tech and registration start at that time... at the Red Lion Inn today. The track is being used by the Portland Police Dept. until 4pm. Looks like a wet weekend -- nothing new.More reports to come. John
csadn
Are you enjoying the symbolism of the Smoldering Wreck Of A Building on the other end of the parking lot?
JustinParcher
Got our pit set up in record time. Glad the rain held off tonight... it made working on the last-minute improvements, fixes and tinkerings a lot easier and enjoyable. Looking forward to a weekend of great racing. Let's go get after it tomorrow, Chumps!

Ron_e
The quality of the fields are definitely increasing, 10 laps down puts you in 30th position in a 55 car race.

csadn
Mr. Condren neglected to mention: The rain stopped about five minutes *after* the Saturday night race did....But, at least the BBQ kept working.

disarrae
I got to throw the checkered today, that was fun, and wet! A couple of you wall buzzers were nearly wearing the 20 pound flag on your windshield . It was fun though! Good race all!

Superdave
Nothing ever got dry at Portland this weekend unless it was inside.

JustinParcher
It never did dry out the racing line. It got pretty close before noon on Sunday, but the rain moved in just in time to foil that. Every lap was a wet lap, to what degree was the issue.
