Pueblo is an AWSOME track. I don't think a single person on our team came off the track without a smile, even the many times the Fiat was being towed off the track (ok, maybe that part is an exaduration). But the track is fantastic.

I had a great time. My apologies to those that I frightened and/or covered in dust in the course of the weekend.

We had two minor mechanical failures which would have pretty much trashed our results for the entire weekend in the standard format :)

I loved the facility, pavement was VERY tire friendly, challenging and fun track layout.

My sincere thanks to Izzi Racing, for getting us back on track!

My thanks to Joey and the Chumpcar crew, and the folks of Pueblo Motorsports Park for putting on another great event!

Best, most fun racing event I have ever been involved with. I ill NEVER run in the lemons parade again! This is racing, lemons is not. Joey, Mike, Brock, you guys treat us as the adults that we try to be, but sometimes fail. And you don't treat us like kids that got caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar. Can't wait until HPR in Sept.

Team Albatross, thanks for all your help this weekend, But next time bring a better crew chief, Soren. :)

Damn you Red Baron, thanks for the duel.

Thanks to everyone, one Great weekend

To all the ChumpCar Staff, Race track staff, Corner works and Emergency response teams. THANKS, THANKS, THANKS. It was a great weekend with a great bunch of folks.

The track is smooth and easy on tires. It has some really fast and some technical featuers which made it FUN!

As for the format change up. I am one of those that has really enjoyed 24 hour races in the past but this shorter enduro/ sprint race format was great. It gave some of the flavor of both types of racing but also allowed a team that has a small mechanical issue to not be out of the whole thing. I would love to see a 12 -6 race. 3 mini four hour enduros on Saturday and the 6 hours of sprints on Sunday. Just let me know when and where.....

To the guys at Izzy's, thanks so much for your help. The part let us run for the rest of the weekend. Pay it forward works, thanks again!

Can't wait to race with you guys in September! All of us had a fantastic time at the races and we'll make sure Soren does not get behind the wheel and screw up team average lap time again!

Thanks to all who made it to Pueblo despite the off-again/on-again shenanigans that the city put is through. Thanks also to Judy for picking up the management contract and getting us in despite the fact that she's still getting her team put together!

I'm pleased that everyone like the mini-enduros and sprints. It seemed to work especially well at a track with an infield paddock. We only had 1 blown start and I think that the 5- and 6-wide fields going into T1 - without any contact or major offs - is a testament to some really patient and conscientious racing! Kudos to all.

Now, go forth and spread the word. We'd like to have at least twice the number of teams at HPR in the Fall, and the more folks you share with, the better the chance we will have a good field and plenty of cars to race with in September. Remember gang, the number of races we run in any given area depends on car counts. More cars means more races. We're not looking for rolling traffic jams with 150 cars on a 1.8-mile track but Colorado has the potential to support two, 50-car races per year.

It was great seeing all the regulars and meeting new teams. We'll see you all again soon!

To the guys of Fiat Albatross Racing 2, Car #19, the apology above is mostly directed to you. If you had a video camera in your car, what would it take to keep you from posting video of my 'exploits' where the rest of my team might see it ? :o

Thanks, you guys are crazy fast and great competitor! The bar has been set by you guys and we clearly need to step up our game for High Plains.

Joey...in all seriousness...you run a great race in a great region. Growth in your series in this region will come organically because of your passion and integrity for the sport. You honor your racers and you honor Motorsport. The word will spread. I know our team will double as I am sure many others will.
