That infield was so dark! What happened to those auxiliary lights? I waited till after 2 am for someone to flip the switch! :)

But seriously, the folks who stayed and drove the enduro with no lights were at a serious disadvantage.

Evilwheel, Sony uses their own proprietary card size so you may want to head to Best Buy for some type of Sony to SD adaptor.

PITA!

Nice Daniel! Btw, saw your R in the parking lot. It was looking good!

Thanks.  APR tune and exhaust + VWR springs = perfect daily driver for me.  The thing has some serious balls.  160 mph top speed in a golf!

I'm the one that raised my hand during the drivers meeting and warned them that the auxilliary lights that were out there would be no where near sufficient and that we'd have to run lights to see.  I guess that video pretty clearly shows which one of us was right.

Really glad that we quickly installed a set of lights on our car, but they weren't good enough as cost at least 3 of our drivers time as we felt like we were "driving by Braille" through the infield.

We certainly could have used a light at the first right hander in the infield.  That was pure guesswork and a resulting adventure.

Witch everyone was subject to, even with lights the full track lighting transition dark killed any benefit of headlights.

Realistically when did chump staff have time to fine tune this stuff, the lemonade presented was cool and refreshing considering the ingredients available.

Under the circumstances I'd say the ChumpCar officials did a damn good job negotiating to get what we did.  That being said,  I still want to strangle the triple booker and the 2 guys who had to get nascar "experience" laps while we sweated our arses off for 30+ minutes.  I didn't like nascar before this weekend.  ;)

Our smoothest calmest driver was a little frustrated with the short track and went feral during his sprint event, a raw 15 min clip of his round 3 overdrive and subsequent smokey spin-burnout.

We finished 3rd 8th 3rd and 3rd in the C3 class

Still processing,  click in 200 or so  minutes

I would be interested in seeing any in car video of our infield incident during the first hour of the enduro.  Trying to understand if we got bumped or had driver error..  Damage to freshly painted  passenger door and fender  appears mostly cosmetic.

Overall, I though most people were driving pretty respectfully.  I was pleasantly surprised we got through the sprints with barely a scratch !
