Day two of racing chumpnamstyle at Deer Trail Colorado, home of the license to hunt drones!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEE-haa!

Update: engine is no longer on the pavement and car #333 will take the start! A few pit stalls empty, a few with cars on stands and wrenches in hands.

Double rolling start, cars on track!

Chump Faces pops the top time for the weekend at 2:12 and change. The field is sorting itself out with some three-wide-into-turn-four action! not so much as two wheels off after four laps.

Watch this space for in-car time delayed live recorded reporting from this reporter late in the race!

#54 Car 54

#127 40/40 Racing

#39 Chump Faces racing just passed for position

#70 Reasonable Phillips Racing

Chump faces only 25 seconds back and five seconds faster.

Clean track today, no dopes or mechanicals so far.

#333 Dutches Escort Service is running well in 20th after having an engine on the pavement last night. Work it!

NT-01 is the rumor on the tires, "that information is privileged until the investigation concludes" is the official line on the identity of the newly reclassified vehicle.

#53 Team dachshund has a good grip on third but Colorado Cone Killers are not far back. The race is for fourth... unless someone chokes or is collected by mayhem or mechanical defect.

Team Dachshund stretching their lead over Reasonable Phillips Racing. Pablo Escobar is in the hunt for fourth and Izzi's Racing is right there. Our leaders are doing a fine job but a mechanical or melee could change things and move the race back to the podium.

Seven calls in two hours... we'll see what happens when i get to drive the last stint as my first drive in months! Warm up for half an hour and race for an hour against folks who've been learning this track all weekend. OY!

Car ran really good.  I'm not really sure what to do with my hands......I'd like to thank our sponsors MKR and TBR, their stickers on the car added the 10hp we needed to get into 2nd place.

Great weekend with some great racing!  Super courteous and clean driving.  The heat wasn't fun with about 117 degrees in the car and I measured 135 on the pavement a couple times, but we all still had a blast.  The night time stints were awesome.  It is so dark out there it isn't funny :)  We didn't have any super fast laps, but everyone was super consistent and ran very similar times to each other.

Thanks to all the chump staff for making this race happen!

Now for a round of tires, brakes, wheel bearings, fcabs, ball joints, chain tensioner pads, and Anything else I can think of in prep for RA in october!
