  1. 11Tenths had a driver drop out and has room for one driver in a 2001 BMW 330ci. The car is well sorted and fully supported with a mechanic on site to support in the event of a mechanical and tonnes of spare parts. Email me if you're interested. We will be participating in the Friday practice as well. john@11tenths.ca Thank-you.
  2. My team and I also got approached and told the guy to get lost, none of us took the beer. We all thought.........what nerve this guy has. Tool.
  3. Sorry Randy, but I too, disagree with your comments about the changes in Chumpcar. Although my team is getting hit hard this year (e30 BMW) it will help level the playing field as we were up against a number of cheater e30's last year that will get flushed out with the new MPV valuations. I'm really looking forward to the 2014 season so much so that my team has already registered for 5 races and are likely considering a 6th. We only did 3 last year!!!!
  4. It's not just 1 hp over a 325, it's 31 ft/lbs of torque and the chassis/brakes to go with it. Within the e36 realm, the 328 is way WAY quicker than a 325. And, way quicker than anything else in the chumpcar field stock for stock. Hence the penalty is justified.
  5. 6. Too funny, I have the opposite problem, I have 4 permanent drivers. 1 permanent back up and a line up of about 2 dozen people to take a spot if one of us gets ill or something. Of the 2 dozen people I have told them to come on to these forums and solicit themselves to get rides, because the likelihood of getting a ride in my teams' car is slim to none. Anyhow, I'll let them know again, all are Toronto based with a tonne of DE's and lapping under their belts.
  7. One of my friends who has a rent a ride would take a rather hefty refundable deposit up front as well as a well written detailed contract. You don't screw up or screw the team, you get your refund back. Simple.
  8. Does anyone have any pictures of what the panel lights look like?
  9. Looks like a neat track. A little far from Toronto though. 4000' just doesn't seem that long. My home track has a straight 1 mile long and we still wish for more!! LOL.
  10. Registered for the Glen and Autobahn so far............very excited. No lets fast forward that calendar to April already!
  11. 318i or is. It was a 1.9 litre 4 cyl. with 138hp and 122 ft/bl or torque. Horrible horrible powerplant. Code named M44 a successor to the 1.8 litre M42 from the '91-'95 318's.
  12. This is correct except Canada never saw an OBDll 2.5litre in the e36. I'm not sure what those south of the border got. There have been many differences over the years of what USA and Canada would get with respect to product lines.
