Had a great time with PNR #33 both Saturday + Sunday. This car loves the Ridge!

Saturday first race we finished 4th, I think had a chance for a podium...was pretty close :) But driving in the rain was a handful! :) 2nd race 7th and Sunday we had some tire + brake problems..

This car loves the Ridge and I had a great battle with #80 BMW Sunday for a while. He had really good pace but I kept the pressure on him which had a toll on his line and tires i beleive... as he made mistakes, i closed in :) Good racing with you sir!

I don't think that was a miscalculation, just the normal way E36 drivers are...

Actually, it was a big miscalculation on my part.  That was my normal entry, but I failed to warm the tires sufficiently and the rear end started coming around.  Thank goodness I didn't collect Rusty Rotors.  I do apologize.   That was my very first lap of the weekend and I can assure you that it did not happen again.  It scared the hell out of me too.

Rusty Rotors had a great time at the Ridge - again.

Love the track.

On Saturday morning the rain was bit heavy at times...

Saturday afternoon was drier and lots of fun although we had a very close call.

Since most people prefer destruction videos, we thought everyone would enjoy the sound of 3rd gear exploding during the 9 hour race Sunday.  Ever been surprised with something metal in the garbage disposal?  Imagine all your silverware in the blender...

Son of Andre #16 '89 Mustang.  ChumpCar 9 hour 2014 - The Ridge

Our race wasn't going well after starting 3 laps back, loosing a few more laps with a driver off, then doing an emergency pit for a sick driver.  We had thought our troubles were behind us and Brian was laying down some blistering laps when someone threw a spoon in the garbage disposal...

This video is dedicated to our crew who changed the transmission fast enough that we could have done it on pit lane.  You guys ROCK!

I have the view from behind of this.  You can't hear the crunchy metal sounds though.   I thought I would be faster if I pointed you by and gave chase.  I'm sorry it only lasted one lap. I was kind of bummed when you suddenly slowed.

Thanks for sharing, most of us driving in SoA were begging to find you guys on track. Good job getting the fast lap of the weekend, but it's even better when everyone enjoys themselves to the fullest! #65 might have some decent video from Monday with us from a couple laps together. Hoping more people post their vids and longer sessions.

What does your pit crew charge to come over and change ours when we need it? :)

One of them would do it for a drivers stint in your car, but then again it might hurt us since he's a good driver!

here is a little Saturday afternoon run...try not to be too harsh on my lack of skill (and my ugly car)....still learning...I think the radios are creating a bit of static in the sound...wasn't there in Portland without the wired radios, oh well.
