Did you guys get things fixed for tomorrow? What was the issue today?

From Bookface:

"Tyler went to the right on the corkscrew and smashed the oil pan on the curbing. Oil pan cracked. Motor is saved. On the way to get a new engine to use the oil pan. Will be back out today. "

I heard the truck they used to pickup the oil pan with also broke. They used up all their luck on day 1.

All of the above....

Day 1 issue was leaky valve cover.

Day 2 issue was an off that took out the oilpan.  thank you German engineering.  that took 12 hours to change.....

Let's see if we can make up some laps today!

P.s. the truck that Tyler used to get the parts broke on the way back as well.  it's still broke.

Anybody know how to troubleshoot a diesel f250?

Did CYR get MOV for Thursday's race?

Sounds like the only positive thing about yesterday was burning off some of that. And the fact that you have 2 more races this weekend.

I'm sure we'll all be liking the 2017 MOV rule better.

ahhahaha... oh man, that oil pan is a biotch. Not sure how the m50 changes things.. but on the M20 we had to use an engine hoist to hold the engine at constant elevation, then remove the front subframe and steering rack before the oil pan is accessible.

One of the drivers who won today is also driving with crank yankers.

2 days, 2 wins, 2 different teams and cars.

This guy can wheel!

Just goes to show where the *real* power lies in this series.... >;)

Looks like Tyler broke the car again?

Racecast is providing some great coverage of what's going on!!

Sounds like a driveshaft problem. I heard them mention a broken trans mount and possibly shifter, too.

2 guys are in the car talking and assessing damage. I don't know how they are seeing all that form inside the car. Removable tunnel top, or through the shifter hole in the floor?

We had a similar problem on our car, driveshaft came apart at the trans coupling, broke the trans housing and shifter, smashed up the tunnel. I thought we would end up scrapping the car, but got it fixed up. More work than I would like to do at the track though :(

Yeah prepping to do it all at home. We are done for the weekend. Basil Weenie will be taking our spot and hope they can do well!

Your video feed was great and you could here it coming apart for the last several laps. I also heard the driver before you talking during the red flag of a vibration issue

so it was bad for some time. Sorry you had two days of trouble but what a track and great win on day one! Congrats on that!!

bummer, but great job getting things fixed yesterday, and running competitively all weekend on a previously unknown track for your team.

Great job to Tyler, Rob and the rest of the team representing the East and Central!

Safe travels home...

It was.....

Epic.

I asked the team members if they had been new to chump and this series events happened....  would you quit or be hooked?

Everybody said they would be hooked.

Top of trans tunnel was ripped off.  easy to see everything!
