I'm finalizing my plans. Not sure yet if I'll take the whole day off Friday for the practice day. I'll get back to you later today. What time will you need to leave the track on Sunday for your 5:30 flight? Are you going  to miss the end of the race at 4pm? You'll definitely miss the award ceremony at 4:45.

I think to be safe i need wheels rolling to airport by the drop of the checker....

I could figure out another way from airport if you are working. Put my thumb out on the freeway....😇

Let me know. I can always get a rental car, but seems like a waste to not share.

@Black Magic Hey Drew - potentially bad news about me providing a ride. Some family stuff might take precedence over me coming to Gingerman this weekend. One of them being that my daughter decided she and her husband were going on a week long cruise, and left our 8 month old grandson with the wife and I...

@wvumtnbkr - your prediction was right when you said "Mike's car won't show up. Now Mike might not either. :(

The plus side is 1) I'll be done with this Camaro cage job in a few days, 2) I can get my own car back home from the storage unit.
3) My block might be done at the machine shop, so I can start getting my motor back together for PIRC. :)

I have a hotel room in Stevensville (~40min from the track) and I only need one of the beds if someone else needs a place to sleep Friday and/or Saturday night.

I'm trying to have my EC Audi ready for this one. As it stands, I only have 2 drivers.

My race winning, but recently off the pace, wife will be there and doesn't have a ride.  She is good and consistent and a team player if you need drivers.  She knows this track very well too.

Call or text me.  Seven too fore 858 o675

Bill, is there still an opening for this event? I know it's down to the wire, but I'm shaking my car down tomorrow and am hoping I can make it to Gingerman to get an event in before the Championship at Calabogie next month.

We're a Canadian team, and would be making the trip from Toronto on Friday. What will we need in order to compete? I'm a paid member of ChumpCar Canada/CER, will that transfer for this event?

Thanks!

Just to clarify... I realize the way I wrote that looks like i may be willing to pay someone.  I am not.  However, stints would be very inexpensive.

I was about to volunteer but then I realized that he might need a driver that can go more than 1:40 at a time...

One of these days I'm going to see if I can get out to an eastern race so I can meet up with all you guys!

Q: What's the difference between an Green Bay Packers fan and a carp?

A: One is a bottom-feeding, scum sucker, and the other is a fish.

Definitely a he. Lucy is a hockey nickname. And definitely Canadian, but not looking like the Audi wants to come out of hibernation yet. I got it on the trailer last night and immediately noticed a slow drip. Apparently I have a leak coming from behind the factory oil cooler. No time to get a gasket and swap it, so I won’t be making it to the race this weekend.I got it on the trailer last night and immediately noticed a slow drip.
