sgtskid
Just purchased one of these https://www.rammount.com/part/RAP-SB-187-UN7U To use as a phone mount. I plan to use my Samsung to live stream to Facebook. My concern is the mount to the roll bar looks like a glorified ziptie and I'm curious if anyone has experience with it. How secure does it hold to the roll bar?

enginerd
I have had good success with this in conjunction with the other RAM accessories: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B007AM1PXW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Racer28173
^^ me too. Just go easy on the hose clamp and make sure it is lined up so the teeth are engaging. Or replace it with a beefier one.

Rodger Coan-Burningham
This is what we used when we ran an iphone and use it now with the GoPro. Similar to above. I like the one Snake shows also, it looks like it would work well. Edit: We used the same phone cradle you show, it is stable as long as you use the rubber stabilizer. If you don't, the phone can rock back and forth in some built in slack. On a related subject, for those that stream with an iphone, use the camera on the side of the screen. I know it sounds crazy, but when you use the main camera it suffers from image stability from the vibration. Something about the camera being gel encased or something, not really sure. The other camera does not do this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GY5JB8W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Edited July 31, 2018 by Burningham
Jab31169
We have the ram mount and the one Burningham posted up. Both work EXTREMELY well. I think we have one stream left on our channel from Daytona. Excuse the cell service, but you can see that the mount doesnt vibrate or move. The other videos from our gopro that is on the mount listed above. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrEWiTy1UnniSJWLzEGMLyQ/videos
mhr650
http://www.hondogarage.com/index.php/product/landing/perfect-squeeze-phone-mount Very heavy duty and solid, I switched to this mount from the Ram mount on my motorcycle.
