The surgeon was in disbelief that I race and towed across the country like that. the worst burst he'd ever seen, seven inch long appendix, but it made it's own cavity up high and all the poison stayed out of my abdomen. I feel like I got hit by a bus. I really wanted to race at AMP this weekend. I can't even drive a car for two weeks now.

Glad you survived that, Jer! Not something to take lightly!
Jer
The urgency in getting me under the knife was scary. I strolled in and they had me under and in surgery in less than an hour. Glad to still be breathing. Now I'm debating a return to Laguna in December. I dunno, seems like I'm pushing it.
mender
My former boss didn't quite take it as far as you did but still very scary! Took him about six months before he felt up to snuff again, so don't be surprised.
Jer
Crap. thanks. I need to be realistic and stop pushing it. Us racers are pretty bad at slowing down.
Black Magic
Jer I am glad you are ok. Take your time. On a positive note, now that the weight of your appendix is out Troy can leave one or two more bolts undrilled...... Sent troy an email this am. Thanks for the heads up.
