2019 ChampCar Sim Series - Round 5, Road America - 4/3/2019, 4/4/2019, 4/10/2019

Recommended Posts

After the very exciting draftfest at Daytona last week, we're straight back into the action and heading to the Midwest for the historic Elkhart Lake. Please note we will be staying true to the real ChampCar event by running the chicane before the kink (the "bend"). Session will be starting in line with the morning start of the real event, so expect the track to heat up from there to the finish. Good luck!

Hi All,

My sincere apologies about the east-coast session not launching tonight. The BetaUI has been having issues reflecting session launch times and when you select a new date/time it won't update the view. This must have nixed the early session but the later one launched as anticipated.

I have set up a replacement practice session for tomorrow night, launching at 6pm Eastern, and with exactly the same session parameters. I see it in my league sessions so it should launch without issue.

Sorry again.

Thanks to all who raced and watched tonight, really fun race and our closest ever finish in the Sim Series, just 0.024s at the line.

Clip below is my own penultimate lap drama, lucky that I didn't wipe out John and Alex!
