Wink
I may have missed it, but has the track been picked for next year?

Technical Advisory Committee Andrew D Johnson Posted June 29, 2021 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted June 29, 2021 NC-->CA-->WI-->? Looks like the north east is due. PittRace would be fun.

I think the pittrace championship was a few years before Charlotte. Still, great facility with plenty of room and a great Alan Wilson circuit for plenty of passing. I know we finished in the top 10 and got a nice prize from Hella. I'm still looking for it.... Las Vegas was listed as the championship in 2017. Technical Advisory Committee mcoppola Posted June 29, 2021 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted June 29, 2021 If it was 2015 you’re thinking of - that was our Focus’ 1st race, also a top ten, 1st met @wvumtnbkr in person - but it was the eastern regional championship.

In 2016 we won the central championship race at Barber but had not run enough races in that region to qualify for the championship. In 2017 we did the same thing at AMP by winning the east regional race but not the championship because we had not run enough races in the east to qualify. So we show up qualified at the first full championship at NCM in 2018 and break like 3 times. Based on that I am pretty sure on the timelines. 1
Voodoo Child
Anything more in the middle of the country? Kansas has a 2.37 mile road course (Kansas City BBQ sounds good). Hallet is 1.8 miles (Insufficient pit facilities and too small?). World Wide Technology Raceway in St Louis has a 2.0 mile configuration (St Louis BB?). From what I can tell from the track maps and photos these aren't "fast wide open high horsepower tracks", so they might make for interesting racing. You could draw from the midwest, northeast, east coast, and southern states-and maybe even get a team or two to travel from the west coast. wvumtnbkr
My vote would be cmp (if they extend pit lane), Pitt race, or BARBER. Would love mid Ohio or VIR full as well.
hotchkis23
Maybe a debut at the new track in the Ozarks? High Plains? Or, why not got to Mosport and help out our friends that have lost out on all the fun?
enginerd
We might be due for a Texas championship. COTA?
Money Shift Racing
We know the answer! It was sorta leaked at the Mid-Ohio awards ceremony. Should be pretty awesome just ask Marty!
