We’re doing the 24h this year for the first time. Will sign up. I already regret this decision.

You should.  It's not "fun".

Took us several tries to actually complete the 24 hour race at Nelson Ledges.  First effort was plagued by car reliability.  Got rid of the "Stupra" and went to the MINI.  Second effort, I rolled the car at 2am.  Big mistake was not enough crew to rest the drivers.  And if we had been thinking more clearly and had a couple fresh hands, could have got the car back out with a couple hours of work, after all we drove it on the trailer to go home.  3rd time, we were more strict on crew/driver rest, had a fairly reliable car, and the parts/know how to fix it quickly when it did break (motor mount and left axle failure).  We've entered VIR and plan to have 5 or 6 drivers and 2-3 additional crew.  We can do the 8 + 7 events easy enough with a total of 5 people for driver/crew, but the 24's definitely take more manpower.

Hopefully not because you saw us signed up. 😳

Lol, never!

(should I add a second rain light?)

So many moving parts. My anxiety is high for this even so many months out.

I share in having anxiety about this event but also welcome the challenge.  I fell this race is a very "who's who" in CCES.

Look forward to seeing you there.

I think I remember this being answered before somewhere, but teams can bright a back up car right? they'd just be removed from any competition if they need to use it?
