I just wanted to give a shout-out to the STS Miata, the Ford LTD team, The Tools, Mostmint Saturn, and the Turtle Eclipse Team. From 1am to 2am in the race all 6 of us were running together and having an awesome time battling. It seemed are cars all had an advantage at different parts of the track and each had segments of getting stuck behind a slow car and forced to the back of our mini-group. To me that was some of the funnest racing I have ever been apart of and want to thank each of the drivers involved. I hope you all had the same good time during that stint as I did.

Good racing w/you guys. We have in car footage from most of the race, and we have some good clips of us running w.you and The Tools.

Good thread, i'll give my shout outs to the taxi miata, the tools xr4ti a black e-30 and a gold-ish e-30, i had some awesome battles with you guys.

And it goes without saying the canadian boys were at their best!

THX for the great racing B)

The red e-30 was a beast, wish i could have had a hope in hell of keeping up.

Hurray on the 12-2 AM stint! I was driving the Miata then and the 34 Subie and the xr4ti created a helluva dogfight! Everytime i thought I put a car or two between you guys and I, here comes the familiar two wide, two higher tight headlights of the Tools and the bright light bar of the Subie! I took particular glee in pinning one of you behind slower driver and working past hee hee. Racecraft. We had at least four drivers in that group that exemplified it well! Every now and then the LTD would go past, and I would think "I thought I dispatched that guy, WTF?" After a few trades of position he was definitely in the mix, though, and drove hard. Great fun, thanks for racing me cleanly and I hope you can say the same of me. The way we sliced and diced through traffic was a blast!

I also want to thank the RBanks silver 90 Saab for a one hour dogfight on Sunday morning. We swapped positions and raced each other hard and clean. And I learned a few things when i was following. After that stint I went over to talk to that driver (kerry), and it was a man hug and high fives all around. THAT is why I do this. What a blast!

I was driving the Mostmint Saturn and I agree, I had a lot of fun during the night stint (until we lost our second left front wheel bearing and I was forced to come in a few laps early). It sure is different out there at night but I had a lot of fun working through the packs. I know a few passes ended up a little closer than I wanted so I apologize for that but at least in the groups I was running in it seemed that most people were giving room to the cars as they worked through.

Jer, the racing was perfect. I have to admit to using the slow traffic as well but also took my lumps when it happened to me. When I did I simply was patient (<- key to racecraft) and fell back in line. About have way through I knew where I was able to make my move safely and is usually where I got you guys back. I must say after 7 total races in that car that was the most fun I have ever had. We were fast, clean, and making our way through traffic all while battling each other! What's not to love! I do apologize if our lights were annoying. We did VIR with standard Hella 500's and decided that it was too dangerous to not see so we upgraded to HID's. We may be able to fix this in the future with better aiming.

That was tons of fun, running close and competitive to all of you guys. The LTD is hard to beat when not turning but got better as the race went on. It just stinks that our show car got so banged up. We had 2 different drivers in in that time. Ben and I. He took over for me but Don't remember what time. Anyway thanks for the great racing.
