kent merkle
Unfortunately, the racing family lost a good man monday after the MIS race.Mike Aber, was one of our volunteer's at Michigan. He was the tall gentleman in the red baseball cap working as a pit marshall for all of us that weekend. He died unexpectedly at home that monday morning after the race.Mike has been envolved with racing for most of his life, all the way up through the ranks of ARCA and ASA. He also was a car builder for many of those years and was looking to build a chumpcar himself for next year.He was a pleasure to get to know and i was looking forward to our next meeting. If you would like to leave a message for his family, you can do so at;baxterfuneral.comYou ran a good race my friend,i'll see you in the ultimate winner's circle someday again.RIP

ChumpStang
He was a hoot to talk to yet still very professional on pit lane. So tragic to hear of his passing, especially with the very unfortunate timing. RIP.

Avettey
Wow! He was a great guy to chat with, he was telling us about his circle track days. That if someone needed a part they just went out and robbed the parking lot for the part He seemed perfectly fine! Prayers go out to his family.
